A file organizer for everyone
A few days ago, I was reading the konMari's 'The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying'. Soon after reading the first few pages I realized how removing clutter from the environment can change our lives for better. Since I spend most of my time on my computer, I decided to write an application that would organize cluttered folders like Downloads and the Desktop.
I present to you: Circle, A file management application that can intelligently find related files and group them together. This version uses extensions and mime-types to group files. Using file-name patterns to group files, is a planned-feature (I was unable to implement it due to time constraints).
When you launch circle, it by default shows your home directory. You can jump to your desired folder by double clicking on the listed directories. To de-clutter a folder, select it by single clicking and Click the 'declutter' button.
